Title: Tilting a television back and forth- problems?
Post by: Stormy151 on November 12, 2003, 09:00:43 pm
I am considering a design for an "all in one" game cabinet that will have a 27" television tilted back 15 degrees for stand up play of Mame, then allow the television to be tilted back to 0 degrees so that an Xbox can be played on the TV from a seated position.

I have read that tilting televisions can sometimes cause problems, does anyone know anything about tilting them back and forth repeatedly causing damage?

The real issue with moving a TV around isn't damage so much as it is degauss issues. I suggest just picking an angle and staying with it.
