Title: WTB: N64 "backup" device (Newark,De 19702)
Post by: Malenko on June 13, 2013, 09:37:52 am
Always wanted one, no idea the cost. I'll be honest, there's some Japanese games I want to try and some US carts that have eluded me. I do own quite a few carts (pretty much all the good ones and the garbage that came with them from buying "game lots" on eBay) I'd prefer a Z64 with the laptop drive mod.

that's my dellema with those is they cost more then the games one would have interest in and ended up just getting the games for 200 less type thing.

the jap n64 disk drive version would be nice to have in the ol collection too.

Fyi . . .

For N64 gaming/backup you can use the Retrode with the N64 attachment.

Ive looked into that, but the Everdrive64, has really caught my eye.  For convienience mainly, ive got many games, it be nice to play them from one cartridge.

yeah the more I look the more likely it'll be I just get the carts. I cant justify $200 when the carts would cost less.
