Anyone know if a B+K 470 CRT Rejuvenator would help with focus drift? I am thinking NOT because it is a High Voltage issue?
I am working on an original SF RUSH with the standard NEOTEC NT-2701 and the color and brightness of the CRT are acceptable... I know the Juvy works for dim CRT's with low emissions.. just wondering if its worth a shot or not.
THANKS

I don't know. I'm having a similar issue with a WG 4600 I have and I'm assuming it's the flyback transformer. After a while, focus is fine, but for 15 minutes after power up it's as blurry as can be, and no amount of knob turning fixes it.

As far I know, focus drift would be an issue with the high voltage unit (Flyback coil).

Neotec monitors have focus drift problems due to the flyback going bad. Replace the flyback with a brand new one.

Ken has spoken, there's your answer

Thank You Gentlemen.. That's what I thought too.
I appreciate the replies...hopefully, we learned something today.
Looks like its time to call our buddy Aubrey over at ZANEN Electronics for a Flyback and Cap Kit.
PEACE...

Sorry it took so long to get this done and reply with the results...
A new flyback and cap kit turned this RUSH monitor form OK and occasionally fuzzy to crystal clear and outstanding.
I recently replaced a flyback on a WG K7500 in a Golden Tee cabinet as part of the troubleshooting process and it too turned the picture from OK to OUTSTANDING...
So... can we assume here that even if an old aged flyback still works it is probably running at less than 100%?
I don't think anyone changes the flyback when doing a cap kit if it is working.....do they?
Maybe it should now be considered?
Thoughts?
