Hey Calamity and others,
Haven't found any way to do this yet, but is there a way after vmmaker has been run to revert back to 31khz mode? For example, say pulling the PC out and doing some configs away from the 15khz monitor...?
I think safe mode could work but then other drivers aren't loaded either .. is there a command within VMMaker to revert back?

Hi lordsnipe,
There's nothing to revert here. You have both 15 kHz and 31 kHz resolutions (just to simplify, because you have also 48 kHz and higher), It's just a matter of picking the right resolution for the desktop depending on the monitor you want to target.

Hey Calamity,
If I have run vmmaker with the default 15khz values then what do I need to do to switch to a 31khz 640x480 so I can service a machine on a bench with a pc monitor?
I looked through ArcadeOSD and also through display settings and couldn't find much.
Cheers.

you should just need to go into your adapter settings and change it.. that resolution is available to you..

Hi lordsnipe,
Does it necessarily have to be 640x480? Why don't you try 800x600 or even 1024x768? Those will probably be at their native frequency and definitely a better choice for servicing a machine.
If the monitor you're going to use for servicing is a LCD, why not using its native res?
640x480 31kHz is overridden by the default 15kHz interlaced mode that's installed with the drivers.

Using ArcadeOSD, I didn't see a 800x600 or 1024x768 option. Did what I needed to do though by uninstalling the driver and using the generic vga one.
