Title: help with visual pinball and maximus arcade

ok i have maximus.. and vp9  when i run vp9 outside of max it works fine exits fine..  when i run it from maximus and i go to hit a button i desginate as exit emulation a black screen appears and controls lock up..  i can right mouse button click and click exit emulation but then the controls are still frozen and i have to exit out maximus to restore them..

so i need help in solving this???? i noticed that maximus preferances part theres a exit hook i can type in.. does anyone know a hook i can write in there? if so what.. or another solution to get it to exit back to maximus where my list is so i can choose another game..

Sounds like classic Maximus behavior, hold the exit button for 3 seconds, if that doesn't work make sure numlock is off before starting Maximus.

ill try holding the Q  buttons which i designated escape emulation for 3 seconds like you sugget. see if that works...

see i want hyperspin since its better..  but i cant figure out how to add visual pinball to the wheel and get it to enter the games and find it.. it says something like error finding something i forget what the error is..

i hear hyperpin and all this stuff.. but its all to damn confusing i just want it simple spin the wheel find visual pinball and mame and press button to see the games and presto.. thats why i choose maximus it was an easy setup..

thanks for the help i was able to figure out what it was.. ok this is going to sound weird.. but every other emulator exits fine with a button i choose which was q  now visual pinball exited fine too.. then i didnt play it for a year arcade sat ran it and vp woulndt exit just stay black and lock controls

now i figured it out after hours and days of working on it.. i designated another button plus q to exit..

so q exits everything else.. and another button exits vp back to maximus..... just plain odd..... but it works i cant complain

ive tried useing mala ive tried hyperspin cant get any other program to use vp other than maximus .. but other than that it works now
