Title: Ami Rowe R90 Error Code 30
Post by: Crawfie on May 19, 2013, 05:16:42 am
Hi to everyone and I'm hoping someone can help me out !!
I have had my Ami Rowe R90 for @8 yrs and now for some reason it's started to play up.
After a couple of plays it will select the wrong record from the one selected.
I've been reading up on this forum about these error codes and it's apparently something to do with the opto switch.
I'm no electrician and the insides of this machine scares the ........!!
Is there anything I can do, with the help of you guys, to fix my jukebox ??
I've been looking at getting it serviced etc but I just cannot afford the prices being quoted and I live in the middle of nowhere
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Steve

Hi,
just read ami-man's post about giving info about where people live so it may be possible to point me in the right direction for advice/guidance.
I live in the middle of Dartmoor National Park @ 20miles from Plymouth in the UK
The nearest repair shop I've found so far is in Somerset. There must someone a bit closer !!!

Hello Steve,

I accept repairs for boards from all over the world and give advice on various jukebox forums.
I answered a topic from a lady on this forum last year with a faulty amp, as it turned out she was in the UK and also in Sheffield about 5 miles from us, she dropped off her amplifier which we repaired and she picked it up the next day.

I suggest that you send me a PM or email me.

Regards
Alan
