What? That was DarkSied's thread to him. And this thread was only an hour after the Sandheaver go home thread, and I'd already been through Forum Discussion. Actually, I'd been all through the forum already, and then remembered the idea of asking about her. Been four days since then. I visit every couple/few days, and have a very specific routine of forum viewing.

An annoying newbie, but harmless... apparently these guys ran him off.

Her, and that was one of her issues. She believed we were mean to her because she was a she and not a he.

We are the same to everybody.  We may bust some chops but everyone is generally helpful and supportive.  Some people take stuff posted on a forum way too seriously and too personally.

Well that's obviously not true, unless she volunteered the information nobody would have even known.

Hoopz:  Easy to point the blame back on the person but that's not how it works.  I've ran a few people off in the past, the difference is I owned up to it and they needed to go.  ;)

She did volunteer the info after Chuckles called her Sandy Vag in jest. We initially "treated her badly" because she asked for our opinion on a project and we gave her honest feedback instead of what she wanted to hear.

I would never have initially called SH a "---Bad words, bad words, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when saint censors you?---" had I known she wasn't a he. If it were a guy, he was acting like a huge one. Since it's a woman, it makes perfect sense.  :lol

I don't think anyone treated her badly based on the fact she was a woman. She just came in with a huge chip on her shoulder and used her gender as leverage when she was being called out on her caustic responses to genuine comments/constructive criticism.

One of the big reasons I like BYOAC and not KLOV. Whew! Did my project catch flack over there, and I didn't even submit it over there! But I gotta admit, some of it was pretty damn funny.

I was re-visiting the "no front-end front-end" thread and I've decided to take back any defense I gave to her.

Over the years I've learned a bit of restraint and when I can tell that my opinion is either unwanted  or won't be listened to, I just leave the thread never to return.  But I saw Jello snooping around so I took a look.

Man she was really off her gourd after I left wasn't she?  I had just written her off as another "guy" who doesn't know what they are doing but won't listen.  So I just left her to it.  Sometimes if a kid keeps trying to stick their hand in a light socket, the best way to get them to stop is to let them do it.... they won't do it again.

It's a shame because as a feature, it was a good idea and I would have helped to implement it if she were cooperative, but as a stand alone app, it's just a really really really really dumb idea.

It's also apparent by her replies that she actually knew a lot less about mame and programming than she pretended to, but that's ok when you are a newbie I guess.  ;)

She was passionate about her idea.

I have Sandheaver sign!

...but since I started my new job I've had precious little time for gaming.
