Haha!! :notworthy: 52"x 83" That is pretty darn awesome, and $140 is very reasonable for the huge the size print that it is. I do have a 18" x 24 " Vigo I printed out for my game room...for when I *Cough* get a real game room.
That full size vigo would be instantly badass to add a sensor to make it randomly say quotes from the movie and the most recent game, and maybe replace the eyes with an lcd to do this:

That's awesome! Once my son is old enough to not be freaked out by that, I'm getting one..

Seems a little pricey to me... I'm pretty sure my local print shop does canvas prints for half that.... assuming you could find the image that is.
I'm still waiting for the dancing toaster.

Yep, a high rez vigo (http://i0.wp.com/i.minus.com/ibrhAYdHAHni0E.jpg) was leaked a couple years ago.
Re-reading the description, it sounds like it is actually a vinyl print with a canvas texture. Hrm...makes me wonder what it would cost locally.

It depends upon the resolution of the source image mostly (this one isn't very high res) but you'd be surprised how cheaply you can get large prints done.
Ironically the only thing that seems to be expensive to print is decals or anything self-adhesive..... you know, anything that would be useful for our hobby. :badmood:

Couldn't one use 3m spray adhesive to get around having to print onto self adhesive material?
-
Not really... or at least I've never been able to do it properly.
Every tried to use that stuff on a sheet of paper? It seldom turns out well.

3M makes a number of spray adhesives (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Adhesives/Tapes/Products/~/Industrial-Adhesives-Tapes/Non-Structural-Adhesives/Spray-Adhesives?N=5396314&rt=c3) that have slightly different characteristics and applications. Even their "standard" Super 77 has slightly different formulations depending on where you buy it (California vs everyone else). For instance, I've used the styrofoam spray and glues to repair foam cores before and the bond ends up being stronger than the actual foam yet it's still super easy to carve through. But getting used to how it's applied was kind of a pain.
If the sheet is really vinyl, then 3M's #80 might be more suitable? Package says it can be applied to wood but I don't know if it would work well on a painted wall. ??? Personally, I think it would be far cooler to build something that resembles the frame from the movie and mount it that way. Then the whole adhesive business is moot.

Souldraw is really cheap for self adhesive vinyl & marquees. I just got a set of sideart and a marquee for my Weecade clone printed & shipped for $35. From China. And it arrived in less than 2 weeks from placing the order.

We went off topic and were referring to arcade related applications... side art and what not. For that painting you'd go down to the home depot, buy some lumber and stretch it around a wooden frame like a traditional canvas. (I'd say get canvas ribs and do it the right way, but a set that big is really expensive).

The Vigo painting would cost approximately 65 dollars from that site printed to a cheap canvas. Like I said, the original is a little steep. ;)
