Title: Hantarex Polo/2 28 Star Black Line

Hi there people! I have an hantarex polo/2 star crt monitor but it has some problems, a black vertical line on the left of the screen. The width of the line changes with the resolution, when I choose a resolution like 640x480 the line becomes slim and if I use a lower resolution like 320x240 the line gets bigger and more lines appear.
I showed the problem to a technician and he told me that if I change the contrast and the brightness the lines will go away, I tried to change that and the lines got lighter but when i change to a lower resolution the lines get darker again, can someone help me with this?

check r36 270ohm on neck card

yeah sort of,when i say check i mean unsolder one side of the resistor and check with a multimeter it reads correctly
just replace r36 anyway

Hi again! I replaced the r36 and nothing happened, the black line is there :(

has it had a replacement flyback transformer recently?
I had a new flyback from a supplier recently that caused a similar issue,changed for a different one and the problem went away

other problems could be electrolitic capacitors

normally that issue is down to r36

is this a polo 2 or a polostar monitor?

The flyback is the original one, the chassis says polo 2 star.
there is something else that I need to replace?

you could try changing the 250v caps at c106,c109, and any on the output of the transformer in power supply section
