Hey everyone!
This in my first post, and I need some help.
I just built a small desktop MAME cabinet using an old ACER Aspire One netbook and a Ultrastik 360.
The netbook is running TinyXP and MaLa.
When I try to calibrate the Ultrastik and I am moving it in circles Windows detects that it has disconnected, and then when it is moved to another position Windows detects it again and it works.
The buttons are all detected no problem, which is good as this was my first time running wires like this.
The issue is that i cannot get it set up because of this.
Any ideas?

maybe not getting enough power from the usb? do you have a powered usb hub you could connect it to to try?
also, try it in another pc, to make sure it isn't something physically wrong with the stick

Sounds like moving the stick is jostling the connection, either on the stick or at the notebook. Or your notebook power supply sucks. Did you try all ports on the thing before posting?...........

I tried it in a different PC and it is still not working properly.
I tried all the USB ports and a powered hub and I am still having the issue.

If you happen to have one of the older micro usb phone cables (it's the same thing), try that. Plug it in, let it register, then flick the cable round. If it don't mis-behave, it's the cable. If not, holler at Andy.
