Title: Using wii remote as a gun for mame?

Hey guys,
Finished my cabinet... Was playing dc roms and Area 51... But I really miss using a gun for these games...
I read somewhere you can use your wii remote.. Is that possible?
If not, what else can I use? I was thinking of the time crisis 3 for the ps3 as my brother still has that gun which is USB I believe.  Any help will be great!!! Don't want to spend a lot if money.

You'll have to consider at least 3 things. 

I've tried it on two separate installs of win7x64 and haven't had luck.  Searching the forum led me to  this. (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=89378.0) Best of luck.

Other then the wii remote is there another plug n play option that is low cost?
