Title: Sketchup help - trying to import DWG and then use push / pull tool

So anyway, I have Sketchup 7.1 and the DWG import tool with it.  I can import a DWG file just fine (2D), and I want to use the push / pull tool in sketchup to make things 3D.  However, it won't let me.

Any ideas?
