Title: Manually updating MAME version on GroovyArcade Linux CD - How?

I have downloaded the latest version of MAME (groovymame32_0148u2.014a_wiimote_linux.tar.bz2) from the download section, but how do i update my version from the live cd installation?

I thought it was just a case of overwriting the one in the installation directory, but i can't find anything to overwrite...?

found the answer:

From Groovyarcade Setup Menu, open MC (File Manager)
First, save a backup copy of the actual GA executable from "/usr/games/bin/groovymame" to a safe folder.
Then, replace the file with the new one.

No need to do anything else.
