EDIT: Relisted with $250 min bid http://www.ebay.com/itm/Two-3-4-scale-Racing-Simulators-with-hydraulic-motion-nascar-/200921741472?pt=US_Other_Video_Game_Accessories&hash=item2ec7de78a0 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Two-3-4-scale-Racing-Simulators-with-hydraulic-motion-nascar-/200921741472?pt=US_Other_Video_Game_Accessories&hash=item2ec7de78a0)
Pair of 3/4 scale stock car simulators with hydraulic motion.
Probably a lot of work involved to get it working and interfaced to PC games, but wouldn't it be awesome with triple projectors and curved screen....

I think that's a little too far... ;)
Unless you owned a (large) arcade business or something.

Made my awesome valve explode!

My love for ridiculously impractical gaming accessories is fighting my utter hate of NASCAR on this one.

:duckhunt Agreed.

Nobody even bid on it.
I bet it could be had for a few hundred bucks if you were able to make it hassle free for the guy haul everything right away quickly.
If only I had realized my dream of owning an abandoned warehouse where I could tinker with such things..... :'(

My girlfriend doesn't "get it" when I tell her my dream house is an empty airplane hanger in the middle of the country with no neighbors.

I'd kill to own my own empty warehouse. In fact I daydream of it often. Perhaps in the next life. Even so, I wouldn't put those type of NASCAR simulators in it. I'd put a dozen of these instead, then hire Howard to make ALL emulated arcade racing games compatible with it:
Force Dynamics 401CR - Introduction (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJoi-1g0IzI#ws)
IAA 2011 ForceDynamics 401CR (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaFwLy5mh7c#)
-
If your going to do it... might as well do it right:
Sega R360 Wing War - Video #1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meYx9RuCAQY#)
If I had the room I'd gut the videogame portion of one of these and install lcd monitors and a beast of a pc and have at it. A full 360 degree rotation on both axis means you could sim anything in it.
This and a Galaxian theatre. I could probably live in the theatre though... just put a roof on it. ;)

i don't mind the nascar theme. and i do play nascar racing games.
however, as cool as the force dynamics and other simulators are,
i usually play from a 3rd person view.
so would those work on multiple monitor setups?
i never play with the first person car view, it's too hard
to see turns, and whats going on for me.

Not even bumpercam/hood view? Those are the best views IMHO. Chase view feels too disconnected for me.

Agreed. It's harder, but that's kind of the point. Technically speaking a lot of arcade racers are easier to win if you play them with digital controls, but they sure aren't as fun.
