Title: MALA flipping orientation on up/down all of a sudden. Only when in MAME menu?

I've searched, but no one seems to have my exact problem.  I've been messing with the options, but I cannot find a solution.

Today, all of a sudden on my MALA frontend, and only when on the MAME menu and no other system, the thing flips upside down when I hit up/down on my joystick.  It's driving me crazy because I just got a new system and updated a bunch of the graphics, blah blah blah.  Is there a simple, quick setting I need to fix?  I don't see anything in any of the settings that's obvious.  I REALLY don't want to have to go back and set everything back up.

Is there a specific file I could overwrite in my installation folder to reset the controls to default so I can just reset them?  Sorry if this is too obvious and a newbie question.  I am, indeed a newbie and this is my first cab.  It's driving me crazy right now.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

open mala.ini with notepad and search for "flip"
make sure every occurence of flip orientation=0

I'm sure you changed it in the menu accessed by right clicking in mala and selecting options, but I don't remember where those options are at the moment.  They both accomplish the same thing.
