Title: U-Trak/mag stick plus mounting depth

Does any one know the best mounting depth for the Mag stick plus in 3/4" MDF with no plexiglas overlay?

The U-Trak seems a little easier with the bezel since I can try that on a test piece of wood.

The magstik shouldn't need any countersinking.

You wont have to counter sink the Magstik but if you don't you might look into the longer handles for it.  My Magstiks are under 1/2" MDF with plexi over that and i feel they could be around another 1/2" taller to fit perfect in my hand.

I top mounted mine. They were way to high, I plan on under mounting it on my new cp.
