Got offered this outrun as part payment for a MAME cabinet. Do you think it is worth the $250-$300 discount?
He says it works just fine, will be taking a look at it sometime tomorrow if I stay interested. I haven't played this game since I was wee lad so I can't remember if it was any fun to me.
Thanks.

If it worked fine, I'd be all over that ---Bad words, bad words, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when saint censors you?---. But I have an affinity for that game. Looks clean.

I loved that game as a kid at the laundromat, this and centipede was all they had (maybe a popeye cab also). It ate up allllllot of my time and gave my mother peace and quiet at a low low price :lol

Cory, that's not an Outrun. It's an Off Road. :lol

That game, and super sprint are favs of mine. I used to play spuer sprint on my c64 for hours, and then any time I could play in an arcde with the real steering wheels was a treat.

Snag it quick! :applaud:

I'd pay $300 for a nice, clean, don't have to do any work on it version of this game. But $150 of that is nostalgia.

The game is a party favorite, but the boardset is prone to failure and difficult repair. That's been my experience. I sold mine that looked just like that for $250 with a broken boardset.
