I remember first seeing this on Starcade. I might've played it at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Since MAME I've played it several times, but always get soured on it. The 4-way movement sucks balls. And you can slap a bee only sideways, and not always for some damn reason. Then there's some way you can topple your first domino on the board - thereby blowing all your bonus prior - which is just too much. Thumbs down.

This seems like one of those posts that will likely get 0 replies and fall off of the front page, but I find it fascinating.
Domino Man doesn't seem to be a very popular game; nor does it seem to be one of those "divisive" pieces of media where there are people "for" it and people who think it sucks, which cause the "Pro-Domino Man" people to feel as if they must "defend" the thing that they like. If it weren't for Gray_Area's post on it, I probably never would have even known to look it up at all. But was that his purpose in posting about it? It doesn't seem so; he says himself that he thought the game was no good. So why bring it up?
The world may never know.

About all I can compliment about domino man is that I always liked the tempest-ish cabinet design (although a few cooler games have also used the same cab) I'm surprised bally midway even found this game worthy of front-art.

I was ranting. Sort of. It's a coool concept. They just dropped the ball in subtle ways that would make the game great. It's actually one of the few, maybe the only, of the 'tapper series' that blows.

I fired up a game, remembered what I hated about it within 30 seconds and I won't be touching the game for another 5+ years. :lol

I know, huh? I keep it (in my 'mentionable' folder) for novelty's sake.
