Title: Speaking of angled joysticks.
Post by: paigeoliver on April 03, 2013, 01:33:03 pm
Pulled these out of a machine this morning. Almost all the plastic actuators for the switches had snapped off which caused the players to push harder to activate the directions and the end result was this.

In the couple plays I racked up before I changed out the sticks for some NOS wico ones I was rotating the joystick handles just to hit the directions I wanted, while simultaneously rotating the Forgotten Worlds spinner controls to aim and fire. Somehow I actually broke the Twin Galaxies record playing this way, but I didn't record it because I had no idea.
