Title: How to create list for 3-4 Player games on Romlister?

Hello,

I created a merged xml file and wanted to create a list that just shows games that allow for 3-4 players for easy searching at parties.  After hitting set on the xml file I noticed that my "Num players" section is grayed out.  What do I have to do to create a list that limits the games to only games that have 3-4 players?  Thanks in advance.

that section is grayed out if RL doesn't detect that you merged nplayers.ini in.
was nplayers.ini part of the merged file process?

get the file from here:
http://nplayers.arcadebelgium.be (http://nplayers.arcadebelgium.be)

you'll have to re-do your merged file though.

sorry that was confusing to ya.  I'm working on a more robust merge tool at the moment and hopefully these things will rectify themselves.

Thank you for the help.  I was able to resolve my problem and now have a list for easy searching during big gaming parties.  One question, Can I use Romlister to edit the names on three games I have on Final Alpha Burn?  I have Mala as a frontend and have Jojo's adventure, SFIII and MvC on Final Alpha because they don't work with my Mame.  On mala they just show the rom name and I wanted to know if I can use Romlister to actually get the full names listed?  Thanks

You can't edit the rom names directly with romlister, but what you can do is edit the merged xml file that you're loading into romlister.
Find the 3 games you want to rename, make the edits, and then do whatever you did to get those 3 games into a list that you can then export out of romlister into a mala game list file.
