Title: Lightguns on a Bartop?

I'd love to add a lightgun to my bartop, but as it's only a 12.1" screen is this possible.
I'm looking at the AimTrak or maybe a WiiMote hack, but would either work on a small screen?
And any opinions on either option?

They would work, but on the basis of the best distance from screen to gun being about 3Ft it would look a little small.  I used to use my nes on a 12" portable :)

Out of interest, I can't find any upto date info on the status of some games in MAME.

Do any of the Time Crisis or House Of The Dead series work in mame?
