Title: mame32 stopped loading roms?

i have a machine in my sons bedroom. it has mame32 0.81. it has been working for years. now when you select a game it shows the box(auditing the rom) then goes back to the game list instead of playing the game. i have audited all games refreshed the list but it still does the same thing. when i audit the games they come back as good.

im assuming my son changed something but he said he didnt. he is autistic and is freaking out that his game is not working.

any help would be appreiated

I bet your ass either he changed a directory or deleted something - people without autism do crazy ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- all the time unwittingly....like somebody else in the family, or a visitor - or somebody hacked his computer.
