Title: TWIN DAYTONA USA RACER ARCADER PROJECT-MAME, MODEL 2 EMULATOR, ETC.
Post by: mrcram on March 29, 2013, 07:04:18 pm
Selling my Daytona twin racer project.  Machine works awesome.  Both machines are connected through cable for link racing.  Current running Daytona USA, Sega Rally, and Sega Touring car in Model 2 emulator.  Everything works perfect.  All original/cleaned/replaced parts are hooked up to a UHID nano.  Gearshift and control buttons are hooked to a usb encoder board.  Bright clear tubes to dual core CPU in both machines.  Coin mechs work but not hooked up, set on freeplay now.  Marquee with 3 of the games in order.  Orange t-molding put on.  The right side computer's hard-drive died and needs to be replaced but everything else works.
Continue my project.  I was going to add a diamond plated chrome sheet metal for the mats and put on various racing stickers.  Machine is too big and I rather have another project to work on instead.  Come check this out in the Portland, Oregon metro area.  Asking $400 or trade for another arcade.

wow... I would totally snatch that up if you were on the other side of the US.

are those VGA monitors or are you running a 15K output from the PCs? IIRC the original monitors in these machines are dual-res 15K/24K
