Title: G27 Menu Issues in Crazy Taxi and other games
Post by: Fursphere on March 26, 2013, 11:27:52 pm
So I had this issue in Shift 2 at first, but re calibrating the pedals a few times fixed it.  In Crazy taxi - it doesn't seem to be "fixable".

Basically I setup the game using the config program, and calibrate the pedals.  The game sets the menu navigation to the pedals (and doesn't allow you to change it...  brilliant.. /sigh).  So once I'm in the game the damn menu is on auto pilot and just keeps scrolling.  I can play with the accelerator / brake to get it to stop, so its obviously a calibration issue - the question is, how the hell do you calibrate it so this doesn't happen?

I tried using the Logitech profiler to combine the accelerator / brake into one axis, but that didn't feel right while playing the game.

Any ideas?

Create a custom profile for crazy taxi in Logitech profiler and increase the deadzone for the pedals.

I increased the dead zone on both brake and accelerator a few times, moving up to 35% each.  Still have the problem.

I could never get it to work either.
I had to use the clutch for gas and brake for brake in the emd
