Ok, so it's been a while since i've been here, and you guys definitelly helped me out and pointed me in the right direction. heres the link to that thread http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=123051.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=123051.0)
What id like to know is i think ive settled on something that is thin enough, remember i need something less than 15 inches (front to back, ie depth) but wanted crt.
Does anyone know anything about this particuar pvm, im looking for as many video inputs as possible mainly component, vga, and s-video. I cant really tell from the description what video connections it has other than composite rca's, just wondering if anyone knows anything else, it seems to me that a modern pvm would have more than just composite connections...... thanks again guys!!!!! here it is, its a Samsung SMC-213 21 inch CRT monitor http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/surveillance-video/SMC-213.pdf (http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/surveillance-video/SMC-213.pdf)

I would, but havent come across any sony PVMs that are less than 15 inches in depth(front to back) that is my dilemma, but thanks for the response, I felt all alone out here for a while!!! :applaud:

When I get home from class tonite, I will finally post some pics on here, to further provide a greater understanding of my situation!

If it's more than fifty bucks, don't get it. Also, Sonys are PVM.

Well thanks for all the help people, it was much appreciated!

Well, I guess since Im gonna have to keep the lcd thats in there now, my only other question is how should I mount the lcd in the cab? I guess I want it to be a semi permanent mount, aside from maybe removing a few screws or so, if I ever have to take it out or replace it.
At this point I definitely plan on doing another cabinet someday and that one will run mame and have a more old school feel and look to it. thanks!
