Title: Mala and MP4

i'm using mala 1.74 and i cant seem to get mp4 videos to work in my layouts.
i have installed all the proper codecs.
i can get an old set of avi videos to work.
my mala.exe.log says this when trying to load .mp4
2013/03/22  00:26:13.62   Info: LoadVideo:  G:\Atari 2600\Videos240p\River Patrol NOT found

and this when i use the .avi videos

any thoughts besides coding all my vids to avi

V1.74 doesn't officially support mp4, but the WIP v1.745 does.
You can get it from www.malafe.net (unless you have Comcast which blocks it fo unknown reasons)

If you really don't want to update, IIRC the old version will play the mp4s if you just change the extensions to .avi without recoding.
There are programs out there to automate the process.

worked like a charm
allready had them re encoded but just deleted them and used the MP4
