I have a 94 medalist dart star. I bought arachnid galaxy spider segments for replacements. The mounting holes don't line up correctly but I think it looks easy enough to fix this. The question is...do I need the arachnid matrix to make this work on my board or will the medalist matrix work? Not sure how everything will line up. Ken Layton have you ever done this? Thanks

Just call Medalist and get the right parts.

I love the medalist board don't like their segments. I prefer the arachnid segments. That's the only reason I'm trying to change.

Use thinner tips, you will have much fewer bounce outs. Even fewer with new segments. I use my Medalist board as my home practice board, and I end up shooting better on the league Arachnid boards.

Updating this old thread.
Medalist designed their gameboard hardware and software to use your choice of these brands of complete target heads: Arachnid, Valley (now known as Shelti), and Merit. You just plug the switch matrix into the correct connectors and set a couple of dip switches on the Medalist game board to the correct manufacturer of the target head.
