Title: calamity drivers and AMD APU CPUs
Post by: pakoman on March 17, 2013, 07:24:49 pm
Hi.

Just curious, would calamity's drivers work with integrated Amd gpu+cpu into one chip?
The GPU seems to be integrated Radeon HD6410D (443 MHz ) or something like that, so it should.

Regards.

Hi pakoman,

No, nothing newer than HD 4xxx works, unfotunately.

pakoman,

I'm willing to investigate how well GroovyArcade works with my Llano A8 APU, if it would help you.  I know that you asked about GroovyMame and Calamity's drivers, which usually means Windows. ;)

If you feel brave enough to tackle Linux, I can spend the time to do this as I have an ArcadeVGA 3000 on a Llano A8 board.

Thankyou wesbrown18, I was just curious about that, I don't have an APU for now. And yes, I was talking about windows. I've already tried linux but I'm not much interested right now.

BTW, I have an old laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 graphics, should it work with the drivers?
