Title: The Link: Quick Release Joystick Shaft by PhreakMods (Kickstarter ended)
Post by: Yvan256 on March 17, 2013, 02:36:12 pm
First, I have to say that I'm not affiliated with PhreakMods in any way, apart for the fact that I might order two of these before the limit date is up.

I thought it would be important that most people on these forums knew about their Kickstarter project (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/128223884/the-link-quick-release-joystick-shaft).

I'm posting this in "Project Announcements" so that more people will read about it. After all, it is a Kickstarter Project. ;)

It's targeted toward people who carry arcade joysticks around in backpacks, but I think people with portable cabinets, briefcase machines, coffee table cabinets and all sorts of arcade-related projects could benefit from this.

Interesting. but I thought these were out already. I've seen them on Focusattack.com for a while now.

From what I understand those were from the first prototype batch. They've been out of stock for a while, I think.

I have a couple of these from his original run, they're pretty cool.

The potential cab uses you mentioned hadn't occurred to me, that's an interesting thought.

The project is now more than 75% pledged, I'm bumping the topic just to make sure it's back on page one to help push it over 100%.

Again, sorry about the bump, but there's only 13 days left! The project is only missing 13% of its pledge, let's make it a reality because I need two of these for a project of mine!  ;)

"The Link" is now over 100% funding, thank you to everyone who helped this project!

And to everybody else: you still have 10 days left to participate if you want one!

Share and enjoy!  :applaud:

Snagging one of these.  I'm planning to do a vpin table at some point and thinking I may include a few simple video game controls on it similar to what Griff's doing.  With this, the joystick can easily be out of the way during pinball action.
Title: New Seimitsu LS-32 option?
Post by: Yvan256 on April 10, 2013, 02:39:38 pm
I'm bumping the thread in case someone passed on the project because it was only for the Sanwa JLF...

A new LS-32 option is being discussed in the KickStarter comments!
