what is the best way/any way to get Tekken 3 in a cab?
In mame, on a dual-core AMD FX-60 I get it running about 70%. I understand the graphics card won't make much difference.
Is there another emulator that will run Tekken 3, the arcade version?

Faster processor is all you can do. Also Intel is much better for Mame.
-
Thanks. So no other emulators (like the Supermodel for Sega) that will run it then :-(
The PC I will use in my cabinet is actually Intel, but a slower one. The AMD one is what I'm experimenting for with the next version which will (hopefully) have some of the 3D games and N64, Playstation and so on.

Zinc Emulator
I remember it having a horrible buzzing sound during attract mode.
I think the game itself was playable, but it's been a long time since i messed with Zinc.

I'm pretty sure it's buggy in zinc so I couldn't enjoy it.
-
Thanks all. I'll give Zinc a go, see if that does it. Otherwise, perhaps I'll use ePSXe - for Playstation for Tekken 3 (where I played the game first of all anyway).
I think it'll run a little better than it does in Mame at least.

boot mame, press f2 (service mode)
go to display
and change interlace to non-interlace, then exit and save.
this little trick will improve performance by about 20% on average depending on your pc.

Didn't know tekken had this feature. Blitz seems to run faster on 15khz mode, too.

Thanks Mr Goshki. I'll try that tonight.
