Hello, Ive had a MAME Candy Cab for a few years now and I recently decided to get a coin mech workimg with it. On closer inspection it has a coin mech which is just missing the chute that drops the coin in to the top, which im guessing shouldnt be to hard to make.
Now my problem, I know with a Mars 111 its just the simplish matter of giving it power and a ground from the pc and a wire to the ipac coin terminal. But ive got Cashflow 115 dfx and im unsure of where to connect the wires...

I cant really help you, except to post this link I found on the net:
http://www.namco.co.uk/PDF-manuals/mars-manuals/126-129_User_Guide.pdf (http://www.namco.co.uk/PDF-manuals/mars-manuals/126-129_User_Guide.pdf)
That looks like a pretty complicated setup, compared to the simple coin mechs with just one micro switch.

Yeah I was trying to understand that manual yesterday ;D which is what brought me to here.
After watch this video on wiring the Mars 111...
mars ms111 uk coin mech mame (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-ZsWEXeQrg#ws)
And looking at that manual (page 12) Im pretty sure all i need to do is attach the wires to the routing plug at pins 1 (ipac coin), 11 (12v from pc) and 12 (ground from pc). But Id rather not do it on the off chance Im right.

The Ipac expects a 5 volt coin signal.
If that coin mech has a 12 volt signal put a 5 volt Zener diode between the ground and coin signal on the Ipac.
For an explanation read the bottom of this page: http://www.ultimarc.com/controldiags.html (http://www.ultimarc.com/controldiags.html)

Did you ever get this working?
I am in the exact same position with mine and need a little guidance on getting it working.
