Title: Windows Joystick driver in dos?
Post by: tom02 on June 20, 2002, 02:45:12 am
I've been reading the back posts, so I don't think this looks good, but I thought I'd ask...

First off, I'm running Advancemame in dos (win98se, not command mode) with a j-pac.  I already have 2 arcade joysticks working great in my cabinet, but I want to be able to play 3 and 4 player games and there isn't room on the cabinet for more controls.  So I picked up a USB to psx adaptor that uses generic win98se drivers.  The pads work great in windows, but I can't get anything going in advancemame dos.  Are there dos joystick drivers or something that might work?  I don't care about the analog sticks, just the basic d-pad and buttons.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I can't use a windows emu, because of sync problems with my arcade monitor. Any help would be greatly apprecaited!

Thanks,
Thomas
