I was playing T&F last night with High Scores enabled and it does seem to save high scores and some World Records. But the running events never save my WR after completing. Anyone seen this before? My guess is the WR is 0:00:00 and I cannot get any time lower than that where as other records want the highest distance - which does record.
Nothing big just something I noticed.
Thanks,
Rich

Yes, you can do something about it - there are some "game specific" details on resetting the World Records (and therefore removing the 00:00:00 ones) on the Mame site itself in FAQs. It's the same for Hyper Sports too.

More specifically:
Track & Field
To have the high score table properly initialized, the first time you run the game you should go into the dip switch menu, set World Records to 'Erase on Reset', reset the game F3 and then set the dip switch back to 'Don't Erase'.

It's the game I keep coming back to (when I'm supposed to be making the cabinet!) I'm no good though - perhaps I'll be better once my proper buttons are wired up :-) I did get one of the records though (had to prove the fix worked!)

Yeah I bought this on XBL a few years back and it just never felt the same. Now that I have my control panel wired up on my Cabinet Project with buttons it just feels great and I think I enjoy playing this game the most thus far.
