Title: Arcade machine returns to home screen in middle of game

 :angry:I recently got my madden season 2 arcade machine and played couple games on it everything was good but after every couple in the middle of a game the game like returns to main menu. Driving me insane. I never know when it's gonna do this. Anybody out there have any idea what this old be? Thank ou

What happens when it returns to the menu? Screen go black? Sound stuttering? Do you notice anything triggering it?

No just goes back to like leader boards and just push start to play like nothing. It's weird it only does it sometimes,like every 3 games I play

Try checking the voltage on the power supply.  the +5 and the +12.  i know it has a computer but i am talking about the other ps to the montior and PCB

just taking a stab to help give you some trouble shooting ideas: bad ram stick? corrupt game file on hard drive, if it came with a cd then try to reload it.

I got it plugged into a 6 prong connector on wall in garage. Maybe that could be it. And yes it came with CDs gonna try to reload it

Tried reinstalling it same thing if not ill more now. Still resetting on its own whenever it wants to. So frustrated. Could it be that I need a new power supply? How would I know. And what is a video card. Heard it could be that also. Please help thanks

When it resets does everything shut down and restart or does everything stay on but it kicks you back to the attract mode? If it has a pc in it and it shutsdown or resets it should be very obvious: it would take a long time to get back to the main attract mode and you may even see things like post messages from the pc motherboard. That would probably be a different issue then the game randomly taking you back to attract mode within a matter of a couple seconds of when you were in game.

Yeah it just takes me back to attract mode doesn't reset any ideas??

Hi. My Madden season 2 is doing the same thing. After selecting teams and selecting play game it goes right back to the start screen. Any ideas ?

I have a Madden Season 1 that is doing the same thing, not sure what to do
