Hi all,
I need to generate a MAME Vertical-only list and be able to look at the types of controls that are needed across them all. Anyone know an online list service that will let me gather this info?
Thanks
Joel

Romlister. http://www.waste.org/~winkles/ROMLister/ (http://www.waste.org/~winkles/ROMLister/)
good day.

Ahhh yeah should have thought of that, thanks

I can't remember if you use XP or not but if romlister appears to freeze on creating lists just let it run its course. Some users may see behavior from windows that would lead one to the incorrect conclusion that Romlister has stopped running when in fact it's just the progress that is having trouble being displayed for technical reasons that I don't understand. NOP can clarify any questions regarding Romlister
Edited for better context.

I use Win 7 but thanks for the tip

to clarify and defend my honor, it's not a bug in romlister per se, but windows gets so bunched up trying to allocate a ton of memory for romlister to do stuff with that it forgets to update the screen while doing internal housecleaning. tossing around a 70+mb file is apparently a lot of work. ;)
admittedly, romlister could probably do things differently to alleviate the problem too...

Let me clarify that I meant absolutely no disrespect, I love Romlister! I chose a poor word, I'll modify my post. Just trying to share my experience to prevent somenone from prematurely giving up on a great program!
