Title: Everything powering on but monitor

Just bought an madden arcade machine from an ebayer seller. When received today plugged in and everything came on but monitor. Checked for loose connections but no luck. Owner said there should be a orange glow when powered on but I get nothing. I can hear everything but get a black screen. Any help?

No glow.  Check all fuses.  Check the connectors for monitor and monitor power.   If it plays blind the monitor is probably the cause of the failure. Use a VOM to check that power is reaching the monitor.  If it is then find a troubleshooting chart for the specific monitor that you have.

Another thing I noticed when I turn on machine is that it clicks like its turning on but it never does. And I know I'm gonna sound dumb here but what is a vom I'm new to these arcades. Thank you for your time
