I have a 3" Happ trackball that I connected to a Trackball PS/2 Adapter I purchased from mikesarcade.com. The adapter has three cables that need to be connected to buttons. Should these be connected to the buttons labelled 1SW1, 1SW2, 1SW3, on my IPAC2?

The cables need to be connected to the NO and COM of regular arcade buttons. They do not attach to an IPAC as the adapter you got from Mikes arcades should convert the button presses to mouse clicks.

Thanks...I think I worded the question wrong. I have three wires for three buttons for the trackball. They would be left click, right click, and scroll.
Should I drill three holes for these and put buttons in and connect the three buttons to the trackball adapter?
Or can I attach the wires to three existing buttons? Attached to the IPAC2.

There are two ways to add a mouse button:
1. Connect the mouse button wire from the adapter to a pushbutton.
Mouse button input ___/ ____ Ground
2. Connect the IPac to the button. (new firmware version, input programmed for mouse)
IPac input ___/ ____ Ground
Of courwse, you could do it wrong and risk messing up both boards by wiring it like this. >:D
Mouse button input ---|
|___/ ____ Ground
IPac input ---|
