Title: Nes renaming and NO INTRO's???? Hyperspin woes

Im attempting to get my Nes Roms to work with Hyperspin man what a PITA  :lol ..If there is anyone who can explain to me in dumb people terms on how to get my folder of roms to match what the XML is looking for without doing it manually renaming one by one id be forever grateful.
And in my search I see people mentioning make sure your NES roms are NO INTRO whatever that means  :dunno . I cant quite figure out what a NO Intro rom is and what the difference is between a intro and no intro.


Im debating on dumping the whole idea of HS and running Maximus if I cant get this going soon.

If you don't feel like dealing with it or at your end, just download the no intro NES rom set.  Pretty easy to find
Otherwise you have to use utilities like ClrMamePro, but sort of sounds you don't feel like tinkering with stuff like this.

And you are referring to downloading basically a folder of Roms that already match what the XML is looking for??

Yep, I think I used ClrMamePro for one system, but then after that I made sure I downloaded the No Into roms for each system.

I tried it out with the NO Intro set..worked perfect everything matched up...you are a king among men.

I didnt have much luck with that tool and im sures it's user error.

crc's have to be correct, but then you know you have the correct roms.  Still.. I got no intros for every system pretty easily and replaced my old stuff.
