Title: Help using ClrMamePro with GoodTools DAT files.

hello all,

trying to get organized over here, i downloaded ClrMamePro and some of the Good DAT files for various emulators (i'd rather use CMP than GoodTools, to answer your next question)..

so i have a folder with all of my roms (as .zip files) in it. and i direct CMP to that folder. it goes through all the roms, and comes up with 'wrong name' for every single rom in the directory.

for example, NES roms:

H:\...\Top Gun (J) [a2].zip [wrong: Top Gun (J) [a2]] [right: NESRen] [not fixed]
H:\...\ZZZ_UNK_zelda.zip [wrong: ZZZ_UNK_zelda] [right: NESRen] [not fixed]

it reads "right: NESRen" for every single rom. same thing happens with genesis, except every single one is "GenRen".

anyone know what i'm doing wrong here? TIA.

wrong dat files? can CMPro create it's own dat file from teh emulator?
