Title: First? KADE project PS3 joystick
Post by: equlizer on January 26, 2013, 05:15:52 am
Just finished building this a few days ago and got down to the wiring tonight.  The joystick is blue because it has masking tape on it so i dont get grease all over it from playing :)  Im undecided on what color to paint it.  There is a layer of plexi-glass on top so i may put some artwork underneath.  The buttons are also clear and can put pictures in them as well.  (maybe you guys can come up with an idea?)  I was able to get away with using 1 daisy chain ground wire on the whole project.  The joystick is Sanwa JLF with octagon gate and all buttons are sanwa except for the top left and right buttons (i forget what they are)  For the joystick wiring i found some old motherboard pins :)  Currently using a beta of the kade and software for testing purposes.

great job, looks awesome. black or white are always classic colors. If you are going to continue using this for the ps3 then black would be a nice way to go.  :)
