I was going to order some LED buttons from Paradise Arcade Shop and was wondering if anyone has an idea how I would power these if I was running them with my bartop arcade which is powered by an original XBOX (I'm using an XBOX controller hack). I would also like to replace some buttons on my Golden Tee and PGA Golf machine but I have NO experience with the LED buttons. I've been trying to do some reading on this but I can't seem to get the exact answers I'm looking for. I want to make sure I can use what I order and don't create a mess for myself. I also notice a 12v or 5v option (regular and super brite). If anyone can help me a bit that would be great. This is the type of button I would be ordering...

I was going to upgrade to the 20 gram switch (seems to be smooth) but then I see 12v, 12v super brite, and a 5v super brite. I'm assuming these aren't powered by the typical wires that are on my current buttons (plug and play swap) but I don't have much room in the bartop to run a separate power supply. Golden tee has a separate board in it's own cabinet and PGA runs off a computer tower! I'm all over the place and getting a little lost! I really want to know how to power these bad boys.
Thanks in advance to any help or advice or pointing me in the right direction for some additional reading.

In all instances, get your power for the LEDs from the power supply that is in each machine.

So I'm going to have to open up the XBOX in order to tap into the power supply somehow? Honestly, I've never tapped into any power supply for anything. Thanks for the suggestion as I do appreciate it.

Possibly. I'm not familiar with regular Xbox controllers, but I was able to tap into 5V on one of my Xbox 360 wired controllers for LEDs.

If you don't want the LEDs to be really bright, 12v LEDs will still light with 5v, and they draw less current.

More recently, Randy started carrying this (http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_id=385) wire set for up to 14 LED buttons.
The buttons you linked are great for admin buttons, but I don't think you'll like them much for player buttons. YMMV.
