What game(s) are you having trouble with?
What is your CPU?
Are you using a standard PC monitor or an arcade monitor?

Hi krick,
i have trouble with sound its not perfectly.
I am using a i5 2500k quadcore, xp32bit in a arcade cab with a multisync 25zoll polostar monitor same as calamity.
and a Ati 4850 with crt emudriver 9.3
In old mame versions I remembered sound and scrolling "hangings" when throttle is on.
In cabmame you can set it of off and get 100% and not "to fast" like now in my groovymame setting...
cheers

Hi wolfsoft,

GroovyMAME (recent versions) needs -throttle enabled for -syncrefresh to have effect. This is how MAME originally worked in the old days and why we recovered this behaviour. This way you can effectively toggle throttle ON/OFF by pressing F10 for benchmarking purposes without this option being locked by -syncrefresh. Don't be worried about scroll hiccups caused by -throttle being on, as is the case with main line MAME, this does not happen with GroovyMAME.
