:laugh2:
I saw this a little while back. The screen tilts by the way, which probably adds 15k to the price. HAHA
-
I love the authentic 55" 16:9 LED screen 18" from your face, perfect for all your arcade needs. And those lovely blank panels with car speakers jammed in the marquee, you can't buy that kind of class for under 10 G's dawg
-
But it plays 50,000 games!*
*games not included, wink wink, nod nod.
Nothing takes me back to the days of playing Burgertime like leaning over 2 feet of other controls at an angle and being too close a giant screen while the speakers direct sound behind my head.
Here is the creator's website.

Their pins actually look pretty good.

Wow, these guys are just dying to get sued, unlicensed artwork all over the place...

I am a bit confused......what makes this one 15k more pricey? The custom marquee or what?......

It's a "Jace Hall Signature Series" ;)

Next time I sell an old PC on fleabay, I'm going to list "capable" of playing 50,000 games as one of the features.
It's also "capable" of playing millions of songs, running millions of programs and playing thousands of movies.

Wait.....it's not even configured yet??!?!?!

55 inch screen, and the ---smurfing--- control panel still hangs over the sides of the cabinet! >:D

It's illegal to sell games, emulators, artwork, etc that you haven't licenced the rights to.
NOTE: All of our game cabinets are 100% MAME(TM) Emulator and Home Console Emulator Compatible! Our game cabinets give you the capability to play any authentic video arcade and home console game you can think of that can run on a PC!
No Game ROMs or Emulator software is included with this game.
wink wink, nod nod.
You know nobody would pay that much unless they thought the games were included.
....and it's doubtful someone who already knows how to set all the emulators up would pay that much.
I read one of the other places used to "give" you a hard drive separately from the machine.
I imagine the person that sets this machine up for you might just do you a "personal favor"
and "help" you set everything up.....completely separate from the sale of the machine of course.

I thought that Jack (he's a member here) was out of the cab business ... I guess not if he can get those prices.

I did some more research and found that the price is so high because they plastered the actual Mona Lisa on the underside of the control panel for aesthetics.
-
I should send him an email for laughs and ask them how much they'd charge me to make a "The Doors" themed cab. :laugh2:

Can't you see by the marquee, that this is a "Windows" themed cab? ...But then again, doors and windows go well together. >:D

Ugh. So much wrong.
-
Wouldn't be that bad if you displayed two screens side by side on the big display. one for P1 and one for your buddy 4' to the left. especially with vert games. The price - crazytown even with the cut down marquee lcd.
To justify even a 3rd of that price v/s BOM I'd need my buddy to the left to be able to play a completely different game. I bet those two seater cockpit games with the big screens aren't near $20K

I like this quote from their page:
"If you notice, our games look very arcade-authentic because they’re modeled after the famed arcade cabinets of yesteryear! We ripped apart old arcade cabinets and then copied their body lines to come up with that great arcade look! We build our game cabinets just like arcade games have been built for over 30 years! Solid all-wood construction using 3/4″ high density particle board covered on BOTH sides with a heavy commercial-grade smooth black melamine."
Makes me want to punch them in the face! :o

My goodness that thing is ugly. I know this is a opinion thing but ugh, just ugh.
-
Also, who the heck is Jake Hall?
-
Jace Hall... He has a video game show on youtube... pretty funny sometimes.
-
He was probably the one I saw on the video a while back explaining why he bought it with some dudes money and all the games it had......Looks like they couldn't afford the purchase
-
I thought that Jack (he's a member here) was out of the cab business ...
Oh, right. The name seemed familiar....
Even retail, that thing is worth maybe eight grand.
