Hi there!
I have a megatouch 6 with a ducksan type 19 monitor that has recently lost its blue. Everything else works fine, just the blue has been popping in and out for some time. Ive already given it a cap job and replaced the video amplifier on the neck board. But I've noticed that it also has a video amplifier on the main board. I don't wanna just buy a bunch of parts in the hopes that it'll work so I thought i'd ask if anyone might have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Wade

Check for bad solder joints at the video input connector on the main board and at all the connectors on the neck board. Check the soldering of the tube socket on the neck board too.
Be sure to connect the tube to a rejuvenator and test the tube.

Unfortunately I don't have a rejuvenator, however I will check out the things you suggested and get back to you. I appreciate it.
Thanks again!

Ok. So I've checked the solder joints and everything seems good. It's gotten a little warmer here as of late and it's starting to work again so I'm a little baffled. Any other suggestions?

i'd say the transistor is going on you. Q409 or q410
and you said you changed U401? "LM1203"

That sounds right actually since heat is helping the issue. And yes I did replace the video amplifier. But
There is another one on the main board. But the transistors sound more like it. I replace them and see what happens.
Thanks

I realize that it's been 8 months since I started this topic, but I hate reading through topics trying to find solutions only to find the solution was never posted. So I thought that I would post a quick note just to say that replacing q410 fixed the problem. Thanks to everyone who helped and to everyone who post such awesome information here.
