Title: Death Star plans shot down
Post by: SithMaster on January 13, 2013, 08:35:44 pm
An article on Usatoday (http://www.usatoday.com/story/theoval/2013/01/13/obama-white-house-death-star-petition/1830107/) proton torpedoes the hopes that our government actually does something useful with taxpayer money.  Best part was "The administration does not support blowing up planets."

edit- I looked over some of the other petitions and not surprisingly one for NASA to investigate the feasibility of constructing a replica of the Enterprise (not sure which version).  Also the quoted cost to build the Death Star probably doesn't include licensing fees.

...unless they label it "testing" in which case it's okay to drop 23 nuclear bombs in one spot.  Typical gov't inefficiency.
