Hey all
Im looking to buy a pre fabricated control panel that will be used on a coffee table. I live in an apartment and don't have tools or space to do any woodworking, blah. If anyone makes them or has one that they dont use anymore, please let me know! I guess if there are websites that maybe users use or own, which sell these kinds of things, I would love to hear about them too. Trying to purchase asap. Thanks all.

May not be what your after but why not just head to your local game store and pick up a couple fight sticks? Or amazon?

I guess I was going for 'cool' factor, but that might be a great option. Is there a preferred stick that people buy online? one thats rated better? Is fightstick the best term to use when searching for them?

First one to come to mind for your needs. http://www.xgaming.com/store/category/arcade-joysticks-and-game-controllers/ (http://www.xgaming.com/store/category/arcade-joysticks-and-game-controllers/) I know there are others but I've never investigated them before.
good day.

Several other places to look are Focus Attack (http://www.focusattack.com/complete-joysticks/) or Canadian Joysticks (http://www.canadianjoysticks.com/).
No specific recommendations on particular models. :dunno
The question is, what genre games do you prefer to play. (Different genres => different hardware requirements.)

Thanks for the info guys - I really had no idea these fightsticks were so popular. xarcade is looking good for my needs. I know that it is frowned upone around here, but I simply have no tools or space to make my own. Fightsticks seem to be a little too fancy for me as well. I was trying to keep this at less than 200 bucks and a lot of them are pretty expensive.
As for types of games - Pretty much everything. I envision nba jam and nfl blitz and some scrolling fighters to get the most play on this.
Im sorry this BST threat got derailed into me not know what the heck I need. I dont think I have the ability to move the thread. :dunno

No biggie. You can either:
1. Ask a mod to move this thread to the Main Forum, or
2. You can start another thread there and when you figure out what you want, double back to this thread and post what you're looking for or indicate that you found it.
Also a good idea to put a link to each post in the other for easy navigation.
