Title: Can you do this with Game Ex?
Post by: rtkiii on January 11, 2013, 04:41:14 pm
1.  Have one LCD play the game from Mame.  While a second LCD displays the controls that pop up when the game in loading in Game Ex?

2.  Change the wording and options on the main page when it goes in.  It is not bad but I'd lay it out differently

3.  Make custom lists?  I see "Add To Favorite" but I want to make like a "Rich Top 10" or something like that

4.  If you enable Highscore in this initial setup do you still need to gfo through all the MAME HS setup crap?(I say crap because alot of you think it is easy and it seems insane to me :)  )

Thanks for all the help and sorry for all the questions.  Iff a majority of these are yes and easy to do I will  pay for Game EX in a heartnbeat.  :)

Yes. I can't recall the feature but it is there.  Headkaze may be along shortly to answer but its probably faster to post on the GameEx forums directly.  Lots of good info and helpful people there too.

Yeah I thought I'd bundle  :)  Thanks though...I'll check out the forum.  This place has been a good resource thus far thought I'd try here first.  :)

I can't speak to the second monitor as I have never done it but you can unlock custom menus by purchasing GameEx.  Last I recall it was $25.  This will allow you to change the front page as well as rename menu items (with a few exceptions).  It will also retain the high scores without the need to configure mame to retain high scores.  It was worth every penny of it.
