Title: Need Help Wiring LCD power to PC Power Supply!!!
Post by: JerryBoi831 on January 08, 2013, 12:11:21 am
Hello everyone. I just finished building a Barop Mame Arcade and have all the controls wired, lcd installed, speakers mounted and wired to the amp, etc. All i need is to wire it all up. I didn't want to, nor can i, fit a 6 socket power strip inside of the cab because of the motherboard and psu so i want to figure out if and how i can wire the lcd power directly to the psu. Also since the marquee light is a standard bulb with it's socket and wall plug, and also the speaker amp's power, im assuming i would STILL need some power strip to power that up. I would like to wire it all up to the one PSU or if it would be better to purchase an Arcade Switching Power Supply. Thanks in advance

ps. sorry for the noob questions but want to get this done right. It's a birthday present for my son  :)

Is your LCD powered by an AC cord directly into it or does it have a 12V power supply brick that plugs into it?
