I have samba de amigo and 2 sets of maracas. They both work great however everytime I play two players. Player two goes haywire. The maracas are spread far away from each other but no matter how hard i try the maracas seem to go where they want or just the opposite of where i tell them too. any ideas?
Added note.
after testing some more I took out one of them. I only played with the one set of maracas and it still screwed up. Finally it just started working right and now I'm having no problems. If this has happeded to someone else let me know.

I have two sets of generic maracas that I bought off ebay. I have major problems with one of mine when in two player mode. I need to crack them out again and try and see what is going on. It is a much better game with two people playing.

Yeah I think one of my sets is just totally bad. I will break them out in the next week or two to check. It really is a fun game. BTW have you tried out the new PS2 EyeToy? It is very very similar in many ways. A really cool game.

my co-worker has 2 sets... both are original dc stuffs... not 3rd party... and I'm able to play without pblms... and I put them next to each other.... (well.... I guess... about 1-2 feet apart... )
and its playing great !!.... maybe there's something wrong with 1 of the sets ??...
(sorry... didn't offer any help here... but at least you know there's a chance that 2 player can play right...)
and yes... its a fun game... especially the Jap. version...
