Hey guys,
I have a jpac that I got a while back and it only has a ps2 input. The machine I'm working with only had usb inputs, so I figured a regular ol' usb->ps2 adapter would work...but I also read that many of these adapters don't support multiple, simultaneous key presses like we all like to do... ;D
I was hoping someone might know of a brand/model of adapter that works well for them?

If it a current model and the keyboard socket says PC KB/USB all you need is the USB to PS2 adapter that ultimarc supplies or any like adapter from an aftermarket supplier. I think it is just a cable.

I'll have to check, but I'm almost positive it's an older version, I got it years ago. Assuming it's NOT that model, is there a specific usb->ps2 adapter that you guys use? Seems like most of the adapters don't do nkro and I'd hate to keep buying one that doesn't work, ya know?

All J-PACs are dual interface devices and support USB.
So you would need either our cable, which is available separately or a PS2 to USB adaptor plug.
Don't use a converter module as these do not work for gaming as already mentioned.

Sorry for the necro bump, but I have a similar question:
I have one of these:
It doesn't work, or at least the computer doesn't recognize it and says "unsupported USB device". This J-Pac only has two PS2 connections, no USB. Do I need a different adapter? I need one I can pick up locally at either Radio Shack, Fry's, or Discount Electronics, so if you can provide a pic or description, that would be appreciated...
